We need electricity for our homes and to heat our water. We all take this for granted and we would be in a dangerous situation if we lost it. Some people in the heating of homes, providing water and power electricity to their homes as well as businesses, utilize the heat generated by the sun. When home solar panels are exposed to sunlight then the p-n junction diodes convert the sun’s energy into usable electrical energy. The electrons are knocked out of their orbits and released when photons strike the surface of the solar panels. The electric fields present in the solar cells cause the electrons to flow in a certain direction. The quality of the home solar panel will be higher if more solar cells are used during its construction.
The benefit of using home solar panels is that the solar energy is not affected by supply or demand. The electricity is generated free of cost. Home solar panels do not pollute the atmosphere because solar energy is natural and pure. It may also be helpful in providing better health.
